Meet the illustrator behind the pics
Hi, I’m Dimitra, the illustrator and surface pattern designer behind Pics & Babbles.
I create playful, colourful artwork inspired by Mediterranean life, nature, folk art and the little details of everyday life.
I especially love seeing an illustration grow into a pattern and eventually find its way onto fabric, wallpaper, home décor or something completely unexpected.
And the “babbles”?
That’s where my sister Toni comes in.
She has been part of Pics & Babbles from the beginning, supporting the shop, sharing ideas and always being my trusted second opinion.
While I could happily disappear into patterns and interiors, Toni has a soft spot for stationery, paper goods and words.
Together, those different loves have become part of the world of Pics & Babbles.
