How can I place an order?

Just choose your favorite products and add them to your cart. Then proceed to checkout, enter your shipping details, and complete the purchase.

Can I change or cancel my order afterwards?

Since our products are made-to-order, changes or cancellations are only possible within 24 hours of purchase. Please contact us as soon as possible at hello@picsandbabbles.com.

What if I made a typo in my shipping address?

Please contact us right away. If your order has already entered production or shipping, we may not be able to change the address.

Shipping & Delivery

How long does shipping take?

Our products are made to order specifically for you. As a result, delivery times may take up to 20 business days, depending on your location.

How much does shipping cost?

Shipping costs depend on your location and will be automatically calculated during
checkout.

Will I receive a shipping confirmation with a tracking link?

Yes! As soon as your order is produced and shipped, you’ll receive a tracking link by email.

Why did my order arrive in multiple packages?

Some items are produced at different locations to get to you faster and may arrive separately. Don’t worry – if one item has arrived, the others are on their way!

Do you ship worldwide?

At the moment, we only ship to Germany and the United States.
We’re a small creative brand growing step by step – but we hope to expand to more countries in the future!

Where are your products made or printed?

All designs are created by us in Germany - with love and care! To bring them to life, we work with carefully selected production and shipping partners around the world.
Depending on your location, your item may be printed in the EU or the US to reduce shipping time and carbon footprint.

Are your products eco-friendly?

We care deeply about sustainability. That’s why we carefully choose materials and production partners to ensure our products are as eco-conscious as possible.

Will the product look exactly like the photos?

We do our best to display our products as accurately as possible.
However, please note that colors may vary slightly depending on your screen settings or lighting conditions.
Each item is made individually and may have small variations – that’s part of the charm of made-to-order goods!

Do you offer personalized products?

Currently, we don’t offer fully custom items. Feel free to send us a request – we might be able to help!

Returns & Problems

What if I received the wrong or a damaged item?

We're sorry about that! We work hard to give our customers a positive purchase experience, but unfortunately mistakes happen.
If your item arrived damaged, incorrect, or faulty, please email us at hello@picsandbabbles.com within 7 days of receiving it. Include your order number, a description of the issue, and a photo. We'll make sure to sort everything out to your satisfaction.
Since all our items are made to order and shipped directly from our production partners, we currently do not accept physical returns.
We’ll gladly offer a replacement or refund – no need to send the item back.
Thank you for understanding that we work with a sustainable, made-to-order model to reduce overproduction and waste.

Can I return a product if I don’t like it?

We're sorry you're not happy with your purchase. In case of a damaged or wrong delivery, we'll be happy to provide a replacement or refund. However, we hope you understand that returns based solely on personal preference (e.g. color, size, or style) cannot be refunded. We kindly ask you to shop mindfully – for the sake of the environment.
Returns generate extra emissions and waste valuable resources.

Taxes

Will I be charged U.S. sales tax?

Possibly. Sales tax is calculated at checkout based on your shipping address. If no tax appears, your order is not currently subject to U.S. sales tax. We’re based in Germany and only collect where legally required.

Why isn’t sales tax included in the product price?

U.S. sales tax varies by state, city, and even ZIP code. It’s added during checkout to reflect your local rate. Our listed prices are before tax, unless otherwise stated.

I live in a U.S. state with sales tax, but I wasn’t charged. Why?

We are a Germany-based business. Unless we have reached a state-specific threshold (like $100,000 in sales or 200+ orders), we are not required to collect sales tax there. This may change in the future, and we always follow U.S. tax law.

What is the EU General Product Safety Regulation (GPSR)?

The EU General Product Safety Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2023/988) ensures that all consumer products sold within the EU meet high safety standards – regardless of where they are manufactured.

As an EU-based online business, Pics and Babbles complies with this regulation by:
• Clearly identifying the responsible company (that’s us!)
• Ensuring that all products meet general safety requirements
• Providing contact details for any product-related questions or issues

Please note: At the moment, we only ship to Germany and the United States.

Your safety and trust matter to us – that’s why we take product responsibility seriously.

Will I have to pay customs or additional fees?

For orders within the US and the EU, no additional charges are expected. For the rest of the world, customs or import taxes may apply depending on your country.
