How does licensing work?
When you license one of my designs, you receive permission to use the artwork for an agreed purpose, product category, territory and period of time. The artwork remains my intellectual property, and the details of the usage rights are set out in a licensing agreement.
What can your artwork be licensed for?
My patterns and illustrations can be licensed for a variety of products and applications, including stationery, homeware, textiles, gifts, publishing, packaging and more. If you have a particular product in mind, feel free to include the details in your enquiry.
Can an existing design be adapted?
In many cases, yes. Depending on the artwork and project, adjustments such as colour variations, scale or layout may be possible to help the design work beautifully with your product. We can discuss any adaptations as part of your enquiry.
How long can I license an artwork for?
Licensing periods are agreed individually depending on the project. One, two or three years are common options, but other arrangements can be discussed depending on your needs.
Do you offer exclusive licenses?
Exclusivity may be available depending on the artwork, product category, territory and duration of the license. If exclusivity is important for your project, please mention it in your enquiry so we can discuss the options.
How much does licensing cost?
